BUND
Ernie Schenck found this guerilla campaign from BUND, the German Friends of the Earth. The BUND people put these little globe balloons on the exhaust pipes of cars. The emissions inflate the balloons revealing the line, "The world can't take any more CO2." The balloon goes bang. The driver gets the message.
And Ernie has certainly a point here : "How, I'm not sure. Um, by the time I hear the bang and get out of my car, wouldn't it be kinda hard to read the line? Of course, that assumes the explosion doesn't scare the shit out of me and I drive smack into a bridge abutment. Now that would get my attention."
Besides that we've also seen the idea already in this campaign against climate change from Clemmow Hornby Inge.
UPDATE : and here is the idea again but just that bit smarter.

Miniority Report
MINI USA has launched its latest advertising campaign aimed at MINI owners. They sent emails to select owners asking them to join the “pilot” version of a new program called Motorby. The idea is simple, first give MINI some irreverent information about yourself and MINI then sends out a special keyfob that identifies you to each of the interactive digital Motorboards you pass.
When the boards detect that you are about the drive by, they deliver a personal message based on the information you originally gave. The program features interactive digital billboards located around Chicago, New York, Miami and San Francisco. Yep, this is Minority Report indeed.

YouTubers getting ad money
People who upload their own films to video-sharing website YouTube will soon get a share of the ad revenue. YouTube founder Chad Hurley confirmed to the BBC that his team was working on a revenue-sharing mechanism that would "reward creativity". The system would be rolled out in a couple of months, he said, and use a mixture of adverts, including short clips shown ahead of the actual film. To be continued...

Question 2
You might have noticed that there are some links on Adhunt. Now i would like to update them and hey, why not ask you, ad boys and girls, what your favourite websites are. I'm looking for any site that has something to do with advertising or that inspires you being a creative.

The Truth
Here's a new The Truth campaign created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky. This guerilla campaign consists of ice sculptures resembling pregnant women with plastic babies embedded in their bellies placed on street corners which, throughout the day, melt away leaving only the baby. A placard next to the sculptures reads, "Over 30 children lose their moms to tobacco every day."

Sportlife
Beaming seems to be the new trend in guerillaland. Here's an example from Sportlife who beamed a skater on the streets in Dutch cities.
